Amrutam wishes you a very happy new year! We hope you’ve taken the time to set your intentions for the year – things you want to achieve, habits you want to inculcate and dreams you hope to fulfill! Last week, we sent you a wrap of Amrutam’s major 2020 highlights. If you happened to miss out on it, you can check it out here.
This is our first newsletter of the new year and in this brand-new edition, we will talk to you about Endometriosis – a common health problem found among women and Ayurveda’s perspective on it, some simple habits you can incorporate to help with PCOS, a fun fact, an interview of one of Amrutam Contributors, a gentle reminder, and a feature of an Amrutam Expert on Amrutam.Global.
Talking about Endometriosis, Ayurveda lays down specific diet principles – consumption of food that help in regular bowel movements, avoiding Vata and Kapha increasing foods and favoring fresh, homemade food. It is also recommended that you avoid fried foods, cold drinks, fatty foods, dry foods during periods. You can tap on here to learn more about Endometriosis and its treatment in Ayurveda in detail.

Other than, eating gluten-free, dairy-free foods, regularly exercising and drinking spearmint tea, one may consume one-two tablespoons of Nari Sondarya Malt with milk or water twice a day to manage PCOS well and have a healthier life.
